Two bits of big news:

Mighty Mo wants to talk extension; he had been hinting that his current contract would be his last. Fantastic news. One for the thumb. Maybe three.

Anna Benson's husband has a torn rotator cuff and will miss the season. How the fuck does this happen the day before P&C report?

Oh yes, it's on. I get wood. Not pryor.

I'm incredibly nervous about this upcoming season.

On one hand, I'm 100% positive we wont be as bad as last year. We will win more than 62 games. But I can see us finishing anywhere from first in the division to fourth in the division.

I mean, the pitching staff could be great, and it could be terrible! Nobody knows, and if they say they do they're a liar.

Rich Hill is probably going to be good, but could be great. Nobody knows.

Mark Prior could be great, awful, or injured. Nobody knows.

Carlos Zambrano could be great but could also be sullen or even gone. Nobody knows.

Ted Lilly? Will probably suck, but might be decent. Nobody knows.

Jason Marquis? Fuck...Everyone knows he's going to suck.

And the line-up? Christ. Again, they could be great and they could be awful.

Soriano, Ramirez and Lee could all hit 50. We might steal 120 bases. We also will probably strike out 1000 times.

I have ulcers just thinking about it. Dont even mention our fielding. Get this for a defensive outfield...

But I still think we might win the world series.
