LOL banez, were you spending all of your time killing boars too?
jewunit: Yeah I think D2 is still a great game, but with WoW, I don't think there will be a D3. Diablo is thrown in the classics pile with starcraft.

Wrong.
They already basically announced they are making SC2, which will be tight, I used to play SC all fucking day.
They also have another unannounced project that they will make public this year. They have written books to the third part of the Diablo story, and some orchestra has recorded songs for the soundtrack to what many think are the game. It might not be for a couple years because Blizzard always takes forever (which I don't mind because they always make quality product), but I really miss playing new Blizzard games (never got into Warcraft III or WoW, even though I played the first two Warcrafts all the damn time)

Cool. I love SC more then Diablo or WoW. I still play SC to this day. Your right about Blizzard putting out quality games. I've heard rumors about both games, but I read somewhere that blizzard had no interest in doing more on the starcraft world. That plus the failure of Ghost gave me reason to think starcraft was done. It would be cool to see another diablo though.

SC was probably my favorite of the Blizzard games.. i however enjoyed Command and Conquer from Westwood.. that game is soo badass.

its a matter of preference i guess, the 2 games are very very similar.. one just uses military units, and one uses races..

plus i like how C&C had a game on playstation, we used to get several TV's and PS's and play multiplayer and shit, that was a shitload of fun.

Don't listen to south park...they will try and tell you what you should think about everything.

I've been a user here longer than the average shroomerite, but i spend almost all of the years lurking. I just don't usually care to say that much.

Age of Empires is pretty tight too.

C&C is far from sucking, I was kidding, it's a pretty tight game.
They are not, however, very very similar. They are in the sense they are both RTS games, but they are very different. That's like saying Diablo and Zelda are the same because they are action based RPGs.

SC was also released on the N64... if it was released on PCs around the time PS2s and XBoxes were big I'm sure they would have put it out on those platforms as well.

hmm i dont remember it on 64, although i wasnt really into the computer as much when that system was still popular.. i was more into goldeneye and sadly, pokemon at the time... i think i was probably 12-14>?

I was playing the new C&C a little to much, then I broke the power cord on my laptop. Now that both comps are working again I cant wait to get C&C Generals going on both my computers. But the stupid fucking download I got keeps fucking up.


Starcraft was always badass IMO. But seriously 8 hours is too long for any video game session. So now I play games in bursts. 3 hours tops.

Yo pokemon was a tight game on gameboy.
That's when I was huge into video games, not so much anymore.
I play Civ 2 (yes I know it's fucking old), SC on occasion, Warcraft (one and two), SC on occasion, and Diablo (one and two), Halo with friends even though I suck, and same with sports games.
