Music website, usually pretty pretentious and deals with kinda indie-ish music, but ventures into hip-hop (both underground and better top 40 stuff) and rates albums very harshly, that's why I like it.

Interesting/weird/odd/whatever news articles from real places that are given funny/witty/whatever headlines by users. Great site!

All of those sites (in addition to google and Wikipedia) are guaranteed to get at least one hit a day from me, there are some other sites I frequent often, but those are my most visited.

i fucking hate wikipedia.. you cant trust any of the info that you get on there.. and for school papers you arent allowed to use it as one of your sources for the same reason. (atleast the schools i have attended)

Just use go down to where the shit on the Wikipedia page is cited and use those. That is if the info you have is cited, if it isn't try and find out if it's correct. Wikipedia is more useful for just recreational reading, or as a launching pad for research.

yeah man....In high school where we had limits to how many internet source we had vs actuall book sources.

Ever paper I wrote the whole thing by looking up all the information on the internet... I just went to amazon and found random ass books to site my sources..funny shit. worked everytime. :smile:

But yeah... I would agree with jewunit...just site the wiki sources.

plus wikipedia just has some stupid ass entries like im sure you guys have heard of "the game"

its not bad for recreational reading, but when you are actually relying on that information and hoping to have correct information from class, it can fuck you over.. its happened to me before.

Actually I haven't heard of the game. But my favorite things on Wikipedia come under the Stuart Scott entry...

I was going to quote it, but they fixed it, and I can't remember exactly what is was, something about how his affair with the recently deceased Barbaro lead to the divorce of his wife.
It made me laugh.
