Well allmost. after a month of failures heres 411:

1. will not colonize without LC
2. LC germination rate is sad - there are a few strands of white but for the most part spores just took a dive to the bottom of the jar and died.

garbage.

on the other hand, if anyone is interested in adding a Treasure Coast syringe to youre collection PM me. You can make it work with some TLC

The next time you should by spores from shroomery sponsor or trade some with other users.

As far as I know sporebank gives a viability guarantee on their spores so write them an e-mail and try to make out some deal with them.

I have only gotten a non viable syringe from a vendor once and they quickly sent me another one when I told them about it

easy to point fingers, but if it started growth in an LC, its viable. 

poor growth in an LC, probably means a poorly prepared LC.  it doesn't take a heck of a lot of spores to get going.  if any germinated and the LC was done proper it should be nice and thick in time.

im leaning towards user error. :smile:  not anything against you but maybe step back and do some troubleshooting to really figure out what's up.  makes no sense to blame the spores if you're making some other mistake, get more spores, and make the same mistake again with those, right?  of course you've given no real information as to what you attempted and how, leaving us to guess.  maybe explain your procedures before blaming somebody else?
