Those of you with an iPod
    #6542130 -

Do all of you use iTunes?

I don't feel like having iTunes infect my computer. I also don't know if it'll let me simply transfer mp3s or if it has to convert it.

I've been using EphPod to transfer music but it's kind of iffy. It does the job but I'd rather have a better interface.

Drag and drop would be SO much fucking easier.

I've got AnapodExplorer but I can't unlock it. :X

MediaMokey is my personal favorite. Gets the job done and its not clunky nor slow.

Is it free or do I have to crack it?

Mp3s go straight to your library and onto your ipod.

I used to think the same way, but itunes doesn't really "infect" my computer.

I really really like my ipod.

Yeah, I used iTunes when I used my iPod. It's pretty easy since they're made to work together and everything. It's also just drag and drop, if you're talking about bringing songs from your library to your iTunes.

I still just use iTunes as my music player on my computer.

I've got the iPod Winamp Plugin but I can't seem to actually transfer music to it. It's retarded.

The AnapodExplorer interface is basically like the Explorer interface and looks like it would be perfect. If I could only get it working. >:o

for the winamp plugin and anapod to work properly you have to have itunes
installed, it's fucked up but it's required, I have several songs that didnt
transfer well through winamp

iTunes sucks, check out Anapod.  Google redchair software or Anapod.  You can drag and drop folders, multiple at a time and it makes playlists out of them, and transfers it all quick.

Best thing I've ever found for my ipod.  Fuck itunes.

Well I don't have the money for it. Therein lies the problem.

I downloaded it on OiNK but I can't get it running cause I gotta unlock it. I'm usually good with finding serials but I can't find this one. =/

What a stupid concept. Using a Media Library to manage a Media Library.

Seriously try out iTunes. It's fucking simple to use, and it's not like there's anything bad about it.

I use ephPod, and it transfers my music alphabetically instead of by track number. It annoys the shit out of me.

I don't mind the album list being in alphabetical order, but I want my songs to be in original track order...not aphabetical.

I've even tried to "order songs by track numbers" but it doesn't change ANYTHING.

Do any of you run iPod Linux? I've got a G5 iPod and it's not supported yet so I don't want to risk it.

The new iTunes is pretty nice.  What's with the need to rebel?

I use yamIpod to pull songs off the ipod, and itunes to manage the playlists (I'm telling you, the new version is tight!)

I'm not rebelling, I'd just rather use a more efficient iPod Manager.
