A friend was thinking about growing some poppies he already has seeds for, and was wandering if anyone has experiance with MycoGrow Mycorrhizal Fungi, It is about $29.00 and would like to see if anyone has tried it before he buys. Click here for more information.


"These poppies were planted by my wife at the same time, in identical commercial potting soil, and exposed to identical amounts of water, sunlight, etc. The pot on the right was inoculated with Plant Success Tabs, the one on the left was not. What a difference!"

You can buy mychorrhizal fungi at many garden stores.
Some species respond better than others.
Try to find it as cheap as possible because most soil already has some of this fungi in it. You are just looking to ensure optimum saturation of root hairs by supplementation.

Since it is produced by Stamets, I doubt it is a lie. It could be that the mycorrizal he has developed work better with some plants than others.
