VA-Colorful, but nada still...
    #648914 -

Well, after about my tenth trip to various parks, woods, battlefields, etc, I think I found a shroom. Yes, that is ONE shroom. I'm not sure what it is, but it had a definite bluing reaction at its base. Can anyone tell me what this is? The other pics are just some of the other cool things I found along the way. Very colorful yet unfortunately inactive shrooms. At least they keep my interest up to continue looking!

This is the blue based shroom.

Multiclavula mucida. These had me excited for a bit because of the blue green tinges all over them. Anybody have more info on 'em?

Hygrophorus psittacinnus, Parrot Mushroom (I think).

Laccaria ochropurpurea. I think this is right but again I'm not totaly sure. I found these in a swampy/grassy area and was suprised at how bright the color. It's too bad these are not shrooms because eating them would have been fun! I think they are edible, however.

Yellow-tipped coral mushroom.

This four legged mushroom species followed me home . Wonder if I can lick it and get anywhere....

Any Ideas?? (PICS) [Re: bluemoon]

Just trying again. Never got a response. No one likes me. I have no friends. I have no shrooms next to my name/handle. I still have "newbie" on all my posts. I guess that means I suck. I don't even have anything to take a little trip on to forget abouut my miserable, poor, loathsome life. I guess I'll go inhale some gasoline fumes.

WWWHHHHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

I'm not whining, damnit! : )

I'll have to say that your first pic appears to possibly be an active Psilocybe. its hard to tell for sure in that pic. It actually looks like the new species I found last year and again this year. Let me grab some pics of the new species and see if you think this is what they are...

That looks very similar to mine, especially the last pic of yours. I can't find out what it is! It rained a bit today and its supposed to rain again tomorrow so I'll go out again the next couple of days to see if I can't find more than one. There's gotta be others. Then I can get a better pic to post. Interesting find! I'd like to know what it is!

Oh, and I tried sucking on the newt and it didn't do much. But when I stuffed him in the bowl.....omg!!!!!!!
