So I found out my uncle killed himself
    #6477844 -

With a gunshot to the head. He had been going through some really harsh financial problems as of the past year, including losing his job and house. In his last year, he made a break for it and bought a new car, a new guitar, an xbox360 and an HDTV and a whole bunch of expensive shit, which totally broke him.

I found out earlier today when I was with my friends. It was so shocking and it just put me in this shell of an emotional state. I couldn't even cry until it hit me later today.

I loved him so much. He wasn't my REAL uncle, but a godfather, but he was so much more closer than that.

Rest in peace, Pete Hadley.

Damn man, sorry to hear that.  At least he's in a better place, hopefully.:(

The true loss we experience when we lose someone close to us can never fully be explained. I can only be left to imagine and sympathize with you my friend. Just remember that we are human , our fate is sealed from birth...the only thing not for certain is when the time will come. a time to be born and a time to die.

you have my condolences.
travel well, Mr Hadley.

Yeah, the only comfort I really have is in knowing that he's not in pain anymore.

It's not what anybody wanted, and I know that it is not what he wanted either.

The worst part is getting to thinking, and remembering all them hugs and happy moments, and all those little memories that made you smile.

He was around 5'2" and kind of stocky, and me and my dad would always reminisce and joke about the day he got married and he wore these really high platform shoes that shot him up like 10 inches, and his air was all big and poofy that day like something out of the 70's.

He was just a totally original character and a comfort to have around, a person you usually don't meet. Always looking to make you smile and make your day better.

I'm sorry for your losses. I love my uncle very much, and the thought of him leaving is very depressing too. I couldn't imagine what the loss must be like though.

I hope wherever he is now, whatever state, he's doing good.

I just had a friend go the same way, I know you probably feel helpless right now. I'm sorry for the loss, but remember the good times and look forward to more because it's what he'd want.

I don't feel helpless at all. It's just more of a shock, and in a way, I feel like part of me has went with him, because he has meant so much to me and my growing up.

He will be sadly missed, and I only wish I meet many more sweet and loving people just like him.

A true family man.

Maybe it's just me that feels helpless because it all happened in Alaska and I'm stuck down here in Arizona feeling like I could have helped if I was up there

You'll meet more people like him.  When one leaves another will enter your life, the world is nice like that.
