damn! i should really print out pictures before i go out. the nursery i went to had a few other types labeled as "Cereus" but i'm not sure if they're p.torch or san pedro. here is a link to a cereus peruvianus (Peruvian Torch right?) which appears to be exactly what i have. anyone have any ideas? http://www.desert-tropicals.com/Plants/Cactaceae/Cereus_peruvianus.html

I can tell right off that the spines are different on your cacti from the link you posted. I have'nt found any at Home Depot yet either. Good Luck!

DAMNIT! I just wrote a post and got logged out in the process, whole thing is gone. Oh well.
The cacti you are looking for are not in the Cerus genus. Cerus cacti are not active, at least to my knowledge. The ones you are looking for are Trichocerus. Peruvian Torch and San Pedros are placed in the Trichocerus genus.

Did you identify because they are missing the spines? Also, the top of the one cactus, does san pedro ever do that? I have never seen a large San Pedro.

It looks like the typical form of Cereus peruvianus . It is definately not a Trichocereus species.

HIGH,
TRICHOCEREUS IS NOT THE SAME AS CEREUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you wanna buy a SP ask for a trichocereus Pachanoii. If questions are asked say you are gonna use it for crafting.
Thats why they use latin names instead of pictures, lol
Peace, Eric
