Did it not come with one of those angled lenses? All it is is like a little 90 degree joint thing, with a mirror in the joint that way you dont have to look straight down the tube. If not, I can see how that would be quite difficult.

Keep in mind the better telescope you have, the easier it is to use (once you figure it out). Like some of them, once you calibrate the azimuth, you can point it at a planet and then just have to turn 1 knob and it will follow the path of the planet instead of having to adjust but the up/down left/right knobs. If you see what I mean.

Either way, I'm sure it'll be a blast to play with while tripping =) Have a good time tonight.
