I need to buy some gypsum and I've searched Home Depot and couldn't find any. i realize I could get ghetto and buy a sheet of drywall and do it that way, but I'd rather not. If any of you have bought gypsum from a place like that, can you snap a picture of your bag and post it so I know what I'm looking for? Also give me some hints on where to find it. Thanks!

Use your phone book.
Call garden centers.
Ask for gypsum.
It has lots of lawn, garden & composting uses.

Home depot is a lumber yard with a small garden section. Take Agar's advice and look at nurseries instead. Gypsum should be avilable everywhere.

Yeah I bought a bad at Lowe's.
It should be right along with all the other soil additives.
It may be considered seasonal, and out of stock right now. Just ask someone and they'll re-up it for you.

Don't buy a sheet of drywall and don't buy a 50 lb box either ,just pick up a piece of scrap drywall that is laying in the drywall aisle and walk right up to the checkout with it,they will give it to you for free,than crush it up when you get home
