bleach solution?

what is the best/ most effective mixture for a disinfecting bleach/water solution? (what are the proper measurements of bleach and water?) can it be used on a plastic container to be used to hold the sterile jars?

Most commonly, "10%" is mentioned, though that can be a little misleading. The stuff you buy in the store is under 10% absolute bleach concentration if you check the label. When we make it up for lab work, we use 10% of whatever is in the bottle from the store.
So it would be 1 part store bleach, 9 parts water. This is a good enough concentration to disinfect without scorching your lungs in the process.

1:10 bleach:water

Is this a good solution? Also, I just bought 3 nice fine mist spray bottles and want to make h2o2:water, alchohol:water, and bleach:water solutions. Anyone got any ideas on the ratios?
