All this talk about "going against the theme of the site" seems kind of irrelevant to me. Every forum in the community section has nothing to do with mushrooms. But part of the theme of the site (or at least the BB) is entertainment and community. If people enjoy talking about sports with other members who they know and like, I really don't see how it takes anything away from the mycological aspects of the Shroomery. All anyone has to do is click this link and bam - never see any unrelated forums again.

I understand your position on this, totally. There is no need for you to have to explain for me.
I know it is difficult to please thousands of members. I can only imagine what it must be like to be in your position... having to deal with tons of suggestions, ideas, complains, etc.
It really doesn't bother me, because I know what forums I'm going to when I login. It doesn't take anything away from the site either. I agree with that. I just felt like stating what I really felt about this, to get it out, because I'm drunk.

You are mistaken
This site is not for sale. Yeah, I know, I grabbed this domain back in 1994 before the Internet is big, and now 3-letter domains are a premium. But "OTD" is an old nickname, I have been here for almost a decade, and I don't want to move. Sure, if somebody dangled a check for $30,000,000 in front of me, I'd be a fool not to take it, but don't bother mailing and asking for a price.
Maybe you guys could all pitch for the 30 mil.

You really do seem to be set on the idea of being a moderator, don't you?
I'll possibly trade my modship to you for a couple bags of chips, or something. Also, you must cover my living expenses, which, I guess, is a couple bags of chips.

Also, I think the Sports forum should be a sub-forum of "FAQ Contributions".

Paying me?
I don't even remember what I was going on about in the posts in here, some kind of stupid drunken rant. Might as well just disregard that post. Yay for chugging 5ths of hard liquor.

Banez simply found a "subtle" manner in which to express how he wishes to be moderator of the forum. I think he is trying to leech off your outstanding amount of awesomeness, eris. I wouldn't tolerate it if I were you.

Stop whoring out your mod-ship dreams of grandeur.
Its starting to get pathetic.
