To those who haven't realized it yet the Shroomery has a SPELL CHECK button right next to the damn 'continue' button. There is never a need to put (sp?) or (spelling?) next to a word you don't know how to spell. Use the fucking spell check, that's what it is there for. The only reason you should use (sp?) or a variation is if you want to call attention to your lack of spelling skills. So please, for the sake of cohesion in your posts use the damn button. It probably takes the same amount of time as it does to type (spelling?) next to your failed attempts to spell words beyond your mental dictionary's range.

The incorrect spellings bother me just a little. It's the (sp?) bullshit that really gets me. I mean, if you know you're probably not spelling it right use the spell check. It's not hard. I prefer to read posts without having that bullshit in the way.

And Gomp's posts alone make my head hurt. I can't stand the imitations.

I can understand, I do it a lot actaully, but meh.

When I use (sp?) is basically means that I know it's probably wrong and want you all to know that I know, but that I"m just to damn lazy to go through the spell check.  :tongue:

I have only used the spell check a couple of times, but I have been guilty of putting the (sp?) behind a questionable word, before.:crazy2:
