There's a series called Berserk I think that's pretty cool, I don't remember much from that time period when I watched it, but I rented like 6 discs or something, so it must have been good.

FUnnily enough the only anime every got into was Vampire hunter D .
Which was( as stated) not really a long standing series.

well...it's basically about bounty hunting. with a jazz soundtrack.

that's all i needed to know to get into it.

I really enjoyed FLCL...it was just so fucking crazy and fun to watch :smile:

Also, just got finished watching the last of the Full Metal Alchemist series.  very well done, great plot. highly recommended...plus theres 50 some episodes in the series, so that will keep you busy for a long time

I saw one episode of Full Metal Alchemist when I wandered home at 2 AM in the midst of a shroom trip once.  The episode was about some guy who genetically combined his own daughter with his dog so he wouldn't lose his government funding.  Kinda fucked up to wander in on at 2 AM with a head full of fungus.

Yea, thats one of the episodes that really stuck in my mind.

It really is an impressive series..... I cant seem to rave enough about it....and im no anime nut or anything.
