I consider myself to be pretty open-minded. I am not one of those hypocritical guys who slaps his buddies on the back when they go out and get laid, but calls women who do the same "whores". If a woman wants to go out and get dick that's fine and acceptable. Women have the right to pursue casual sex in the same way that men do.

But, the situation in that article is seriously fucked up. This woman made vows to her husband that she would be monogamous and build a life with him. Then she starts to stray and the husband sits there and takes it like a bitch?! I would have been out of there in like five seconds. And she does this shit around her two kids? The fact that she utterly destroyed her husband and has created a weird environment for her kids makes her no good in my book.

If she wanted to live a "free-love" kind of lifestyle why did she get married and have children? In this situation I'm not afraid to say what this bitch is....WORTHLESS WHORE.

I think it is entirely possible to have more than one "lover", but it is entirely inappropriate to have more than one mate.


It seems to me at least that when selecting a set of chromosomes with which to make biological compact it is of the utmost importance to find a set that you endorse whole heartedly and without any reluctance.

I believe it is hard  enough finding one partner to make life with, let alone two completely compatible sets of genes.  Personality being the summation of all genes and experience.

Now, in lieu of these opinions, I do believe and have experienced profound respect and the desire for two or more females companionship, even sex. 

Well. that may go without saying, as a I quite often find myself wanting sex with complete and utterly random hawties, the condition of man is thus. :shrug:

Still I think men should strive to reduce the onslaught of humans against most supreme being, by adhering to higher standards, standards only one mate is likely to possess.

Does this make any sense?

Its been so long since I have sat down at a computer I may have forgotten how to function on one.

polyamory is anything but new.

That being said, I've been in open relationships before. But, that pretty much only applied to the sex-side of things. We were allowed to fool around with other people / have sex / etc, but there was very much a 'no strings attached' when messing around with other people. There was no 'dating' other people.

Monogamy is one of MANY ways to conduct a relationship. While it happens to be the way that works for allot of people, its not what works for every person. As long as whatever is going on in the relationship is

- Open, Honest, Communicated, Safe and Consensual - by all means, go for it if its what works for you.

More powerful consciences allow for more emotions, including jealousy. Humans are now evolved so that a polygamous relationship is against our evolution.

Also, think how much longer it takes a human child to mature over other species... way too long.

all I know is that I can love everyone I choose to, while just being physical with one person. It's been a fairly good system.
