Alcohol - The scourge of man.

As I have become more experienced with alcohol and the more I'm around people under it's influence (Including myself), the more I understand
Just how bad it is compared to marijuana or even mushrooms. I feel I am way more out of my control and, quite frankly, how just spun I feel when I am drunk as compared to high on weed/shrooms.

It just really for me seems to put into perspective the difference is between being drunk and being high is. And how much more beneficial the one is compared to the other.


Anyway I dunno I guess i'm just saying how much ,more I'd prefer to be high as opposed to drunk.

Either way, I'm a little of both at the moment.

Im a hard drinker and hang out with hard drinkers for the most part. Lightwieghts who drink a few times a month are the only people I find annoying....


I love Alcohol. I like weed but alcohol is a social thing, whereas pot is the crap you smoke when your bored and have nothing better to do.

I'm guessing your in high school or something. But really if you hang out with people who drink on a regular basis, its very chill, moreso then smoking pot....

While I do agree that it can be a chill thing to do with friends, that is in moderation. I'm saying that in excess; like a lot of poeople do, it really is just disgusting, IMO...

I have nothing against the casual drinker, or even the drunkard, neither matter to me, I was just making an observation, that, in my opinion alcohol is much worse than even(some) illegal things, such as weed.

Then again, I dont really care much for people in general, so maybe tahat has something to do with it.

Moderation isnt key.... Lol. I drink all the time and get drunk like 4 times a week and I have it no other way. I mean let it be.

Its a lot of fun and its what I like to do. Doesnt effect nothing cause I am smart as hell and dominate in college.


Its prioritys. I am the greatest guy I know and I dont think people should tell me I am a "Scourge of Man"

Its really all about the people you chill with... You obviously dont hang out with the drinking crowd. And yes I agree that really drunk people are annoying when your sober

But what I am saying is that not all drunk people are very annoying and the ones who drink regularly definitly arent.


Your probaly basing your thoughts on potheads who get drunk rarely (which is annoying as hell) and 14 year old girls or something lol.

Want to hear about some crazy coincidence? I was reading this very thread when I looked out my window and realized that my friends house was on fire. A couple of the guys from my frat were all drunk and fucking around with fireworks and the place went up because they didn't put everything out like they thought they did. It's funny that this would happen considering the content of the above post.

Alcohol effects you personally in that way. That does not mean it will effect others in that same way. I don't act like a fucking retard when I get drunk unless the situation calls for it; watching a football game or a fight where everybody is getting rowdy for example. On a more frequent basis alcohol helps me to relax and chill out a bit. I'm about to have a drink right now. :cool:

m00nshine is currently vacationing in Maui. Rumor has it he got rolled by drunken natives and is currently prostituting himself in order to pay for airfare back to the mainland but he's having trouble juggling a hairon addiction. He won't be back for a long while.

Heavy use of anything will effect you some way. Denying it is plain ignorance (not surprising).

I think all of your posts demonstrates very well the effects of alcohol on a young person's mind. Either that or the alcohol hasn't effected your brain (:rolleyes:) and you're normally like that (wouldn't surprise me as well).

I don't think that getting drunk can make you into a moron, it just effects your judgment in a way that's not the most positive. If you're the kind of person that's inclined to make bad decisions, alcohol only makes your ability to judge that much worse. I've seen guys that are normally pretty collected do completely idiotic shit because they'd been drinking. It's not that I blame the substance completely, but it does have a way of bringing out the worst in certain types of people.
