He sounds so much like his father that it's chilling! I get chills almost everytime I listen to him. People were crying during his show, at Bonnaroo. I just wanted to give props to a legend in the works.

I always thought the same thing about him. The tone of his voice is so much like his dad.

Only thing I didnt like is the mix stuff he did of his dad's music. I only have his first CD, and havent heard his other stuff though.

I dislike him immensely. Also Bob Marley was only an alright reggae artist, his real early stuff was quite good however. There are other reggae artists people.

My best friend just got back from Jamaica and bought a CD of his. It's pretty badass.

Bob Marley, no matter how you look at it, is considered the godfather of reggae. How many frigging albums does he have!? 100? :laugh:

I like other reggae, mostly the mellower stuff. A lot of Bob's music really encompasses a lot of feelings and emotion IMO. Good diversity within the different songs.

I think my favorite album is Kaya

oh good golly :tripping: rotr is an experience to say the least. it is high and above any other festival or event i have ever attended. you better hurry blissed it gets bigger and dirtyer every year. just like the world.

Yeah, I saw Damian Marley at Roo this year, great show! He's a great young performer, but I hold Stephen and Ziggy in higher regard. Stephen is the producer, the brains, and he really sounds like dad. And Ziggy's been doing it the longest of the kids, occasionally he ventures into cheesy territory, but him and the Melody Makers put out a few good records, the best being "Spirit of Music". Oh, and Cedellia is hot!
