Do you eat a lot of salt? That could be it. I used to black out because of low blood pressure and now I eat more salt and its better. I'm only 23.

Diet plays a roll in your blood pressure, along with sleep and exercise, also there are these pills that that you can get that lowers blood pressure, it gives you a dry cough but I guess its better than having high blood pressure,

but yeah high blood pressure is not good, that means your heart is getting taxed, its working harder than it should, so get it corrected....... you may need to stay away from certain foods, my uncle stopped eating peanuts because they gave him high blood pressure.

I had a blood pressure test at the docs earlier this year and it came back high,, i had to go back once a week for the next 3 weeks, everytime i did it still came back high (i'm 24 now, was 23 then).

Then they fitted me with a machine for 24 hours that took my BP every half an hour. The results from that came back normal.

Sometimes being in the doctors or just the act of having a BP test can cause stress which will elevate your BP.

I have high blood pressure and I monitor it on a daily basis.

I am stubborn so I refuse to take any medication for it.

I found a direct correlation between weight loss and sustained lower blood pressure readings. I lost 10-15 lbs. and my average readings have dropped a good 20 points on the syst. and about 10-15 on the diast.

I still could stand to be a bit lower (weight and Blood Pressure) but so far I am making good progress.

Keep your weight in check, exercise, and eat healthy. I would see if that helps before surrender to taking HPB medicine for the rest of your life.

Sodium hides everywhere but it could be hereditary. Keep an eye on it.

Pilocosanol is great for your lipid profiles if you have cholesterol problems too. :smile:

Question. I want to try shrooms, but I have extremely high blood pressure, like 100+/145-160 , does anybody know if it bad idea or not?
