Bringing guns into it would take it to a while nother level. Buuut if you REALLY wanted to fuck him over completely.... if he was in fact growing the shit at his place, just in an anonymous tip to the cops

I had the same thing happen to me about 5 years ago.
All this stuff was in a secret hiding spot in my best friends house. Only a few guys knew where it was, and knew how to get into the house.
My buddy and I left the house one day, locked it up and all. We come back, and the doors left wide open, and wow, looky here, all our shit is gone. They took 2 bubblers, a $400 glass bong, a few pipes, a quarter oz of pot, and seeds.
It was fucked up. To know that your friends would do something like this.
2 years later, one of my other good friends, who I know didn't do it, because he was my friend since like 2nd grade, got arrested with this other dude that we had known through high school and such. They were drinking in a parking lot or something.
Anyways, they get to the police office, and when the policeman check's there bags...There's the $400 glass bong that the other guy had in his fucking bag!!
Donno how it all works out, but, obviously some sketchy "friend" who found out stole it all.
Guess my friend asked the guy: "Where did you get that bong?" He said: "Oh, I bought it off blahblah". Some dude we didn't even know. IT was weird.

When i talked to him on the phone he said it would take alittle longer than anticipated. My friend started talkin shit and dealer heard him. Never showed up
One day the guitar that Dealer had stored at my house showed up missing. Nothing of I or my familys belongings were touched. Guess who i later found out did it. Don't blame either one for there actions.
It was fucked up though cuz my mom "knew" that it was me that stole it.

Thats fucked. I would not call crime stoppers when its your grow equipment and usually when you stitch the cops get you for conspiracy, and then your fucked by the cops also. I highly discourage using a gun..... as I said earlier someone ballsy enough to steal that much shit (he surely had help from others) isn't going to sit by idly if you pull a gun on him. Odds are if you take it to that level, he/his friends WILL strike back at you. Sure, you'll get your shit back for a few days, maybe even a few weeks.... but I highly doubt they would just leave it at that.

Thats hurtin man.. this is shit all compared to your situation, but i threw a HUGE party at my house, about 400 people came. some old school nintendo games (you know, like super marios brothers, commando, and tetris n shit) and part 1 of "scarface" got stolen, i still have part 2.
one day i was at a buddys house, who is the only other guy in town i know who collects original nintendo games (shit, before he moved back here i had a monopoly on that shit, everyone brought me their old games, but anyway..) and what do you know?? he has a couple games that i KNOW were mine.. i take them and basically say "these are mine, fuck you" and he tells me how he doesnt remeber where they came from, he said someone sold them to him but he doesnt remeber who. BULLSHIT. Then im reachin for his bong to pack another bowl and i notice just PART ONE of scarface... hmmm?? i should have grabbed it right there like i did with the games, but he made up some big story about how he borrowed it from a mutual friend that had moved away.. but that sounds like bullshit to me too. I'm pretty sure it went down like this, since the guy who actually had the games ive known for awhile, plus i think he would have stolen both parts of scarface IF he was to steal from me. I think his ROOMATE, who is also supposedly also my friend, is the one who stole that shit (i have since had a buddy tell me he saw the roomate snooping around my stuff), then sold it to my other buddy. thats pretty bad on both there parts, for the guy who would accept my stolen shit and then cover up for his roomate. fuck em both, id kick the shit out of them if it wasnt for the fact that either one if them is MUCH bigger than me.. but they got theirs comin.. and i hope you get your revenge too!

thats a bummer, but i have to come out against the use of violence or guns. i know it sounds lame but whenever people fuck me over i eventually start just feeling sorry for them that they're such fucking assholes, and will probably fuck over the wrong person and get killed at some point... it sounds like your friend is off on a good start to that end. I'm sure he'll fuck things up for himself pretty good w/o you needing to help him. That is some seriously evil shit tho, and it will surely come back to him somewhere down the line.

In cases like this I hire someone to do the dirty work. Only in cases where someone I love is harmed will I do it myself. Violence is bad, but just think if nobody gave a violent reaction and one bastard went around fucking over everyone... He would get away with it. Eventually someone needs to slap him back into line. Guns are bad as I have been shot at and it is not something ANYONE wants to EVER go through. Guns seem to make poeple think they can do anything, but pull out a beretta and have an AK-47 to your chest. hah. It's funny how that works. You'll be best off offering to fight him like a man, settle it like gentlemen. If he declines the formal offering (or you know you'd get beat down) have someone else do the dirty work.
