Tool to mirror patitions - read/write images of partitions
    #6298929 -

so im in the process of dowloading all the drivers for my notebook and setting up a backup partition.

basically what i want to do is the following:

install windows with all the latest drivers, antivir and stuff, create a backup partition on my hdd
and put an image of the windows AS IS on there.
the backup partition would just be as big as the installation of windows and office and stuff,
say 3 gig or something.

then i'd like a bootloader of some sort which gives me the option on startup to
write just that image back on the disk whenever i want to in order to
find a clean and ready to work with windows whenever i want to.

i think NORTON GHOST (?) can do what i want to but i am not sure,
pls give me some input !

Ye that should work nicely, Norton Ghost will also do it...

Be careful to make an offline backup of your backup... I have seen too many people corrupt or blow away their backup partition by mistake.
