heh, i got this microbrew stuff from canada. It's called Sleemans Dark 50. It's 5.5% comes in a bottle with no lable (like IBC), and it's mighty tasty.

wish i had some more. like bass. yummy $_$  :crazy2:

i just got done with a HUGE midterm from 7-9pm. time to kick back

I'm very fond of a trappist ale called Chimay Bleu. It's 9% a/v... about a pint for $8.

Definitely not an everyday beer for that price... but I love the taste and with that high of an a/v a pint will do you good.



Besides, it's fun to shoot a cork off of a beer bottle. Just be sure to point it away from your face :tongue2:

I really enjoy Sleeman's Silver Creek beer. I only have one of those.

And then I'm onto my last 2 remaining budweiser.

I am drinking on some Red Stripes and Sierra Nevada Pale Ales. The combo is nice. Diversity is a great thing.

I really want to track down one of the chimay black label bottles.

They're only brewed for consumption by the monks themselves and for sale at the tavern near the monastery... they're remarkably rare outside that area.

I'm sipping on an oatmeal stout I just made. It's not ready yet, but it tastes pretty similar to arrogant bastard. A little more chocolately, and less alcohol though.
