What do you do with items you are done with? How do you offload stuff?

Ok, here is something I'm not good at but I need some way to deal with it. I have a lot of stuff that I am done with, but none of it is worthless. I can get something for these things. For example

a.) 2x turntables, 2x nice needles, 100x records
b.) 12 inch sub, nice box, amp, cables
c.) Nintendo DS, Mario Kart DS, Brain Age
d.) Nice airsoft rifle, pistols, etc..

How do you offload this stuff? The sub and the tables are way too heavy to ship, I'm getting no bites from my flyers I'm posting, Craigslist is all scammers trying to rob me.

How do YOU go about selling stuff if you do so. I need some fresh ideas. Thanks!

many trade publications have sections for classifieds, you'll target your audience more accurately that way

ebay is another potential source

too heavy to ship? people pay rediculous prices for shipping all the time on ebay.. you could easily get rid of all those items there.

I've got lots of tribal house/techno/dnb/trance.

So people really pay assloads for shipping on eBay? Where can I get lots of boxes for free? If I could get a lot of boxes this would seem way less daunting. I could pack this stuff up and have it ready to go.

go to a liquor store if you need boxes.

the boxes they have are usually more sturdy, they're free, and when your car is full of them people will think you're an alcoholic.

Yard sale and farmers market have worked very well for me.

Might depend on what your area is like though. If there aren't enough people passing by, it wouldn't be worth it probably.
