dharma bums, jack kerouac (already read that one, but wanted my own copy)

it's a collection of short stories by clive barker. not sure if there's any vampire ones in it. aside from hp lovecraft, clive barker is my favorite horror writer. his books are really imaginative

i dont know about books of blood yet, cause i havent read them, but if you check out the great and secret show by clive barker you'll be in for a real treat. one of my favorites. it doesnt really fit into a category, it's an apocalyptic fantasy/horror i guess would be the best way to put it. it's really trippy too

fantasy horror is right up my alley (vampire/lycanthrope fiction). consider it, um, ...yea..ill read it in the comfy chairs at barnes & noble. thank you corporate book stores.

looks like youve got a pretty big plate full there, but id like to recommend something back...
the entire Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton (so far, it's 15 books and a comic that JUST came out).
HIGHLY recommended.

p.s. barnes PWNS borders >:D

cool, i'll add it to the to read list.

yea, i'm in australia right now, i haven't seen a barnes and noble here. the only major bookstore here that i've seen is borders. there's a couple of used bookstores, and cheap bargain bookstores, but their selection is so small.

i've gone in borders before and read an entire book. it seems that they're catching on though, like 4 big cushioned chairs seem to have disappeared, and a few hard uncomfortable chairs appeared...

i decided to read stranger in a strange land first. i can't put it down, already 60 pages into it. it's so good.
