Due to the low volume of orders I believe hoodies are shipped every two weeks, but geo should be able to chime in with some clarification.

LoL.. all pending orders were sent out at the beginning of this week. For domestic purchases (inside the US), you can expect to receive 'em within one week. For international orders, it may take up to two weeks from the date of shipment. New store items will be introduced soon (and by soon, I mean it will probably be a little while - but that we now have some solid plans!)!

Purple.. perhaps - I'll have to see if we still qualify for quantity discounts on a total order if we ask for a mixed bag o' colors. As for bi0's question regarding the materials, the hoodies are currently printed on Hanes Ultimate Cotton 10 oz 90/10% cotton/polyster pre-shrunk hooded sweatshirts, and the T's on Hanes Beefy-T brand ringspun cotton blanks. It is likely that we will be moving to tagless T-shirts on the upcomming production run, as well as a different hoodie blank (though still aiming to preserve the 10oz or greater weight). This should all be finalized next week.

in the future, you should look into wholesale orders of hoodies from american apparel - sweatshop-free, very comfortable and fit well, and pretty much the standard these days. http://www.americanapparel.net/

Call me crazy but I don't much care for AmericanApparel wares, at least not the few t-shirts that I've scored at various concerts using their blanks, which have been of a thinner material and a tighter fit around the arms than the Hanes Beefy-T ringspun's we currently use. As I also noted the last time sweatshop concerns were brought up, Hanes is not known for such activity and pledges a solid code of ethics along the same lines as AmericanApparel.

While I haven't yet browsed the full wholesale catalog for AA, the shirts they list on their Wholesale Information page are quite expensive, with T's coming in at $18 for a plain blank, even when submitting an order for 200 pieces. As they don't seem to offer screen printing services, this additional cost would make such an item very expensive for the end-consumer. I will take a look at their entire catalogue when I get the chance though. For now it's off to the beach in hopes to lift low spirits on this 90°F southern california day.

I prefer AA more than most other t-shirts. They are more of a snug fit - that's the style. Thinner? AA has more of an old, cozy worn-in t-shirt feel. But I guess that's a personal preference. I like t-shirts that are not baggy or bulky.

Wholesale $18 t-shirts doesnt make sense considering the standard t-shirt retails for $15 - you're looking at the wrong t-shirt. here's the standard at retail: http://www.americanapparelstore.com/2001.html

As for sweatshops, AA is far more transparent considering they are manufactured in Los Angeles rather than some unknown location probably overseas.

That's the thing about style.. unfortunately, everyone has their own idea of what it is. :wink:

A $15 blank is still way too expensive.. as we're shootin' for a ~$15 list price; covering the cost for the blank, the screenprinting, packaging, money-transfer related fees, not to mention a few bucks for my personal hooker fund as a return on investment for the whole shabang.  I have however, submitted a registration request for access to American Apparel's wholesale catalogue to see what kind of rates they come up with (I'm wondering if they'll even offer quantity discounts for our relatively low volume of orders).  If it is comparable to our current setup, we could probably manage to stock some of their designs.
