Dinner will be...

Orange Pork Chops and sliced red and green peppers with jalapenos and red onions. I'll be deglazing the pan with some triple sec and cooking that down to a nice sauce (hope that goes well, never tried using triple sec before, but it's about as alcoholic as wine...).

I may also prepare some high class Kraft Mac and Cheese DELUXE (bitches!) because the love of my life is a big fan. I accept her faults and all :smile:.

Desert may or may not be baked apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.

Sounds great. I had something similar. Apricot/ginger chops and apple/peacn baked beans.

Never tried vanilla in with the apples. Got a recipe to share? Usually I take granny smith, core and slice. Melt butter in pan, toss apples in, cook a bit, sprinkle on cinnamon and brown sugar and cook until done.

No real recipe per se. Just planning on pealing and coring. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon that's had a capful or two of vanilla added to it. Then dot the apples with butter and bake at 350 for probably like 20 minutes. Maybe +/-10 minutes, I dunno, just saw a show this weekend on baking fruits and figured I'd give it a shot :smile:.

At least half the time I try new stuff with cooking and rarely use recipes. It's more fun this way! Although I've never had a mad science experiment like the meat loaf my girl made me that wound up tasting like fish. That was crazy - no clue how it happened either, and it wasn't really bad at all. MMmmm "fish-loaf".

I made a wicked dinner last night.

I make some deadly chicken fajitas.

The somewhat secret ingredient? Zesty Italian dressing. Cook the chicken breasts. Slice up(in strips) a green, orange and yellow pepper along with a red onion. In your fryer, cover the bottom with zesty italian dressing. Add some garlic powder, peper, salt and a little bit of seasoning salt. Let it heat up a bit and then chuck everything in except for the chicken. Cook with a lid on stirring everynow and then. Once slightly soft, stir sliced chicken breast pieces in. Cook for another 5 minutes or so...

mmm mmm mmmm

Add your favourite stuff to a tortilla, obviously, sour cream, cheese and whatnot.


Tonight I think I'm going to cook some prawns and chicken wings and sit back with the 5 bottle of wine in my life.
