What should dinner be?

I want to have a really good dinner tonight. Let's say I can get ANYTHING at the big supermarket for dinner tonight...what should it be?

I've been over doing the steak/potatoes thing lately and looking for something a bit different.

Any suggestions?

Some good Argentinian sausages with white rice? You might be lookin for something more fancy but thats wat im craving right now... :grin:

Greek Pizza.

Serves: 3-4
Preparation / Cooking Time: 10 minutes / 15-20 minutes


Ingredients:

1 Pizza crust (12")

1 Tablespoon Olive oil

1 small Red onion, thinly sliced

1/2 teaspoon Garlic, minced

2 cups Mozzarella, grated

2 medium Tomatoes, sliced

2 teaspoons Oregano, fresh, chopped

1/2 cup Spinach, cooked, chopped (squeeze dry)

1/4 cup Black olives, sliced

1 cup Feta cheese, crumbled


Instructions:

Heat the olive oil in a skillet. Add the onion and garlic. Cook until just soft. Set aside.

Sprinkle the Mozzarella over the crust. Top with the sliced tomatoes. Sprinkle on the oregano. Spoon on the onion mix, spinach, and black olives. Sprinkle on the feta.

Bake at 425° for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

get a nice gourmet slamon steak, fresh, and sprinkle it with dill

steam some rice

and steam a green veggie (green beans, asparagus, or broccoli)

make sure you squeeze fresh lemon over your salmon steak, and over your rice for more flavour..

... mmmmmm.. yum..now i'm hungry

my dinner today was,

Organic Penne Pasta, boiled in sea-salt water, served with italian herb tomato sauce, a tbl spoon of Parmigiano-Reggiano and a sprinkle of garlic.

I had steak, fettucine alfredo, chili, and a caesar salad.......from my college cafeteria! But it was still good.

You should go pick up some tomato soup, and make grilled ham and cheese sandwiches. that sounds sooo good right now

I was actually going to make some tomato soup and toasted grilled cheese. I wonder if that combo is good if the sandwich isn't grilled... I have no butter!

Look into the Culinay Forums, esp. the CPK recipes that I posted. The Tiramisu will go well for dessert, even if you have made dinner tonight, it will be a treat for tomorrow, if you decide to make it.

The greek pizza looks DAMN good. I used to work at a pizza place, and would make something similiar for dinner often.

Yeah! Greek Pizza, FTW.

I make a mean mediterranean pizza. A few different ingredients than the greek one I posted, but mmmm that one sounds good too.

olives, & garlic butter instead of pizza sauce :drooling:

I actually used homemade hummus for the sauce on my mediterranean pizza. it was bomb.

That would be sweet! Hummus on a pizza, ill have to try that sometime.

Another really good pizza is to mix sweet barbecue sauce with the pizza sauce, or have no pizza sauce at all, and put mozarella and chicken on it. Verrrrry good.

Man, deadly suggestions from everyone.

I didn't even get to read any before I ate. It actually ended up pretty simple. I cooked up some tomatoe and basil chicken breasts, with mushrooms, and made some sort of pasta alfredo thingy. Twas good though.
