hmmmmmmmmmmm, i wonder if a couple of these would work instead of a flow hood..
not a bad price either, 25 bucks :blush:

It says within 1/2 inch but thats for a killing the bacteria within a solid, wonder how it would work for killing airborne bacteria

lamps will never replace the functionality of a flow hood. especially if you are using it to remove toxic vapors.

the uv waves wouldnt hurt the spores unless they were exposed to the raw waves for and extended period of time, i dont see what senario that would happen in.

Bad idea. Never enter a room with a UV light on, and certainly don't light your work area while you're in it. They've been installed in gloveboxes before, but you have to shut them off when you begin to work. Agreed, there is no substitute for a flow hood.
