i have to agree. tats are to express your shit, your ideas, how you feel. all your doing is taking some one else's thoughts and expressions. dont get me wrong, its a great looking tat, its just not yours.

Hm, someone who gets a tat just to say they have one is pretty lame anyway, so why bother trying to tell them to be original?

I don't know...I'm no artist, so any tattoo I ever got would have to be of someone else's creation, so no matter what it isn't mine.

And I'm guessing the majority of people who have tattoos didn't draw it up themselves.

well you dont have to draw them yourself. the one i have on my arm is original but was drawn by an artist. you just have to go in there and tell them your idea, then they draw it up and you go from there.

well like my avatar. that was all my idea its just i cant draw. this is what i said. i want a rooster pouring out a keystone beer and above it in rainbow style i want it to say Long Live the Rooster and underneath to complete the circle i wanted it to say RIP Tim. i didn't draw it but its all my idea. once i get it tatted i will take full credit for the tat. i will bring up that a friend drew it but..... i don't know I'm just rambling now. i haven't been to sleep in like 2 days.

oh and just to say, i don't like the way it came out. i just didn't want to tell my friend cause he worked real hard on it. he got the basic idea its just the tail bugs me and the style of lettering.

That's a sweet tat, but I wouldn't get the exact same tat someone else's got. If you like the design of the tat, you could bring it to the tat shop & let them know you like the design & they can draw you up something similar, but make it your own, ya know? That way your tat is original, but still along the lines of what you want.
