hows it ... i managed to come into a large supply of hardwood chips .... And was wondering if making a bed of cyans , or auz. would even be worth it ... assuming i start to colonize carboard and chips now for transportation outdoor ... I live on southeast coast , near the beach , we have a 274 day season between freezings. I was wondering if i started colonizing know , what kind of results could be expected come fall ??? i really don't want to waste time , considering i could grow some in my tent...... if you know more about this than me , which should be anyone reading this , i would appriciate some advise ... i may just spread these chips out around my garden .... anywho cheers

I am trying to grow Psilocybe cyanescens in my garden in Toronto. I think it is worth trying quite hard to get these established. Even if it took several years it would be worth it. It has been introduced to Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin, so just on the other side of the lake from me. I am growing Tapalpa as well so I can have something to decorate with much sooner. I think it may be a bit too hot in your area as these grow cooler.

You have to get Paul Stamets books. They have the answers you need. Check it out at the library.

Very good information at http://www.sporeworks.com/azurdata.htm .

The cultivation of P. cyanescens is the same as azurescens.
