Scary foods

I don't know if anyone cares but I thought I'd bring this to someones attention. There are two foods I think are the most wrong thing they sell to people. First are apples, well atleast most apples. Most apples are coated in "food grade" shellac. Shellac is a secretion from a certain insect named Coccus lacca that secrets this stuff they put on apples. Maybe not life threatening but disgusting none the less, unless you enjoy bug secretion. I actually have these bugs living and eating on my habiscus plant and needless to say they are ugly little white fucks.
The other frightening food is penut butter. Yes penut butter is one of the most dangerous foods out there. You can gaurentee that every can of penut butter out there has a certain poison in them called aflatoxin. Aflatoxin is in mold that grows on the penuts which causes cancer. Sure they cook the penuts before they turn them into penut butter but it doubtedly kills all the mold and it definately grows back. Its certain that the organic type penut butter is more dangerous than the processed kind because this dangerous cancer causing mold grows better on the organic type. I would never want my children eating penut butter. I'd rather give my kid a pack of cigarettes before penut butter.

Very short list. You could have easily added tap water(with arsenic/flouride), beef, poultry, cow milk, and canned foods to the list. You will find the majority of the foods the FDA approves is as equally as healthy as eating mammal feces. Now why do you think that is?

i've also developed an avertion to apple skins, you can try and scrape that shit off but you'll never get all of it off... i just peel it  then.

i never indulge in penut butter (it's too expensive over here) and when i will i don't think i'd mind some mold :smirk:

chicken is indeed one of the scariest things i regularly consume, they pump the poor animels full of antibiotics (usually taking no notice of the law) and you end up eating all that shit which is BAD for everyone. but chicken is like 10% of my diet :sad:

it's like 3.75 US (20 NIS) per 500 grams.
it doesn't last long so its a luxury to have it at stock all the time, not that it's THAT expensive but ya know... it's not a neccety :shrug:

i bet you pay about half that or even less (and they probably sell bigger containers too)

the minimum is 18 NIS i belive and unless you have some sort of trade most jobs would be around 20 per hour but it's hard to find anything "conventional" that would make me more then 22-25 per hour :smirk: (which amounts to around 4000 per month)

people with a trade could expect to make about 5500-8000 after tax per month and higher (but that's gennerally the middle class i belive)

i think the living quality is higher in the states though, you get more for your money (or simply make more in comparison) but really i'm not one to ask about these things i'm still out of that circle, i don't support my self so i don't know what it really takes all i know is what i've seen or heared.

once i get my own place you're gonna hear alot of that from me :smirk:
i expect i'll take at least a year or so to adjust to the money thing. but at least i'm not like most people who spend money left and right on things they don't need.

if you eat read meat, by the time you hit age 40 you have about 7 lbs on undigested red meat in your intestines. that is scarier than a bug secretion. i buy apples locally or pick them myself to hopefully avoid that issue.

I think it's a little of both, our minimum wage would be about 22 NIS the average wage is around 40 NIS for labor work, and around 85 NIS for skilled trades. 1.3kg of peanut butter is around 20 NIS ($5US)

Yes,  red meat and white meat was something people ate at one time because it was neccesary for their survival. Now days people eat meat waaaaay too much which is just unhealthy. most societys don't need to eat meat period. you can find all of the nutrients and good stuff in good ol' fasion fruits and veges and whole grains. I personally gave up eating meat years ago  :thumbdown:
