only tweaked once and i've never had another medium, like a movie, put me so completely in a high than this is.
anyone know the name of the song billy corgan sings before the porn shop scene?

That movie sits on my DVD shelf. It pains me to watch it. I was involved with a girl who was into meth. It was not a healthy or fun relationship.

I cringe when I watch that movie because I think of her and how hard I tried to help her.

Hey Hendo.

Spun is a wacky movie, for sure. I have been involved with that lifestyle before and it was all real shady, but I related more with The Salton Sea, because it portrays the scene alot better, imo.

Spun? Yeah, it was more comical to me than anything. I like that Mickey Rourke was in it. He played the perfect roll.

You might check into Broken Vessels as well. It's a pretty good portrayal of out of control drug use.

I keep meaning to check out Spun and Salton Sea.

And for the record don't ever try to help a meth addict. If they can't help themselves you've got very little chance in my experience.

I remember one night i was getting tired at around 1 AM, but i saw that spun was on demand so i decided to watch it since id never seen it before.  After watching this thing, there was no possible way for me to get to sleep, it was the strongest placebo effect ive ever had.  And the next day i found myself thinking about going to get the real thing  :eek:

I've read the best way to get a song out of your head is to listen to it a couple times. Maybe it's like that with drug cravings?  :wink:

For the record I got not beef with meth, I've actually had almost nothing but fun and good experiences personally with it. It was a great second business while working as a waiter, not to mention at the end of long double-shifts it really helped me finish my shit and get outta there. I'm always amazed at how meth is so villafied ... it's like a handgun, you gotta be responsible.

I dont think I did get any speed, although very shortly after that (a couple weeks) i started doing coke & heroin again. I was on lexapro at the time, and it seems like everytime im on lexapro i get huge cravings for stimulants, and do huge amounts of speed that i normally wouldnt even consider. When im off the shit i hate stims (except coke), anyone else get that from lexapro?
