I always see that global village backpackers place downtown, but i heard there are a few others that are half way decent.

Just go to a bookstore, and find a Let's Go book for Canada, those are designed for budget travel. They always recommend the best hostels - never failed me on on my trip to Europe this summer. Just bring pen and paper and copy that down

The best one I found out of all of them, in Utrecht in Holland, was dirt cheap, breakfast included, comfy bed, with a garden in back and I was told I was welcome to smoke whatever I wanted in the garden. :smirk:

Good times, good times.
