Re: it the fear of death or the love of life... [Re: fireworks_god]
    #6088893 -

On one end I definitely down play the aspect of fear as being a necessary component of living life, but on the other end I also recognize that fear doesn't not only give us an opportunity to gain awareness but is a sign in which one should recognize that one should become more aware. If you totally discard you fears and feel they hold no value, such actions can lead you down even more scary situation.

But to what degree can someone access his or her fears as being rational or being irrational is the hard part. I definitely not down with irrational preconceived fears about little specifics of nothingness....., alot is determined under certain future predictions maybe, we can predict certain outcomes and it makes us fearful.

Especially when some aspect of my environment is out of my control, when someone goes off and I can't control it, it makes me nervous knowing this will continue if I don't figure something out.

Other times I've embraced fear, I relished challenging myself to newer and higher thresholds of experience. These experiences cannot be obtained unless your willing to accept fear on a certain level, once you have established that attitude, and prepared yourself mentally, then such fears are eased, but I chase it, knowing this is where the threshold of experience begins.

But such an attitude can lead someone down a road that will really give you something to be scared about, and when you are on quicksand and your future is uncertain, and your keep your whits about you to not freak out of your own skin, they say the single most thing when fighting death, is to stay calm, breath slowly, and calmness will enter your being, even in the most terrifying circumstance, which I can verify is true, that still doesn't elevate the burden of death though, to say your calm and actually be calm doesn't mean your not afraid.

I wouldn't fear
For I've never known completeness
Like being here
Wrapped in the warmth of you
Loving every breath of you
