What is the best way to cold shock cakes to help initiate fruiting? Where, How long, etc.

You need to get the frozen pees from your moms fridge, and stuff them and the jars down your pants.

No wait, if you have a refridgerator that might just work. just toss em in for 12 hours or so.
basically, if you drop the temp 10deg, it should be good.
but the coldshock apparently helps?

There's been quite some debate about it, and I have personally not seen any considierable difference by cold shocking or not.

The best use for cold shocking is for delaying casings which have achieved the state in which they are ready for fruiting. Id throw those aggressive ones in for a day until the others have catched up. Yes, and a 10 degree difference is really the only thing needed to ensure the development of primordia. (As well as fresh air, light......)

Hey, speaking of light. would 15 mins of light 12 times a day be better than 4 straigght hours?

and yeah, ive seen no great advantage to cold shocking either

It really depends on which strain you're growing. Some strains
benefit from cold-shocking, some don't.
Someone posted a list of strains and ideal conditions a couple
of weeks ago, It included whether or not to cold-shock.
But I can't remember what it was called. I might have saved it,
I'll have to look and see.
