I'm intrigued about why this place gets so much grief about it's hippy population,, are there really hippys here ?. Or are people just poking at us.

I suppose I could be considered a hippy. I definitely get along with the hippy crowd more than any other group.

But what is a hippy to you?

I'm more into reality than a hippy, I'm a realist I guess. Peace and love is definately part of it, but its also about comprimise, empathy, morals, happiness, virtue, etc.

Yeah, basically.
Anyone who lives by hippy ways, i'm talking stereotypical.

I'm not a hippy at all, i don't look like one and i don't talk like one.
But i do carry traits that i would consider hippy'ish, make peace not war for example. My general love for anything that's living, that sorta thing.

I had to choose,  no, but with hippy traits.

I never could handle long hair, or beards.
But I love weed, and getting close to mother nature, by being able
to grow plants. :confused:

hmm.. boderline.

i do the whole tie-dye.. long hair.. and have this very passive personality.. a lot of people think im a hardcore hippy.. but idk.. i dont see it as much as others do.

Exactly the same as me, though i do grow a beard out of laziness sometimes so i'm one step closer.

It's nice to see that most people lie in the middle, also it's nice to see some extremes either way.
I think that's what makes this place as good as it is,, :smile:.

Yeah, it's just a way of living. Some people are all in and some are against.
The fact most people lie inbetween is healthy i think.

I can't do long hair and a beard at the same time, I do one or the other on occasion, but never at the same time, it just looks too trashy on me.

I just wear hoody, t-shirt, baggy pants, skate shoes or my lugz. Right now I have hair an inch or two from my shoulders, long but not long. What the fuck do I fall under?

Someone label me.

i have grown out hair, am a regular cannabis user, and currently have not shaved in over a week(i plan on another 3 if i can take it) feel very hippyish some times but i think that is compared to others around me(Alabamians) i choose yes but not hardcore.

It forces me into a happy disposition, makes any body pain I have disappear, I have so much fun with my friends - never any problems, and I just like smoking, so whats better than the greatest medicine on earth?
