Get a cheap fish air pump from walmart and about three foot of tubing, then a small bubble stone. Get a pint jar and fill it with water, then put the bubble stone in the jar and turn the air pump on. Just run the tubing through a small hole in the wall of the tupperware container. You can do this by heating a nail hot and pressing it into the side. Keep the pump on the outside.:)bluhoney

What Blu said, plus, you may want to consider this:  At the pet supply store, next to the air pumps and other aquarium stuff (tubing, bubbler stones, etc) you will find small "check valves".  Your air pump will be pumping air into your terrarium, but you need a way for CO2 to get out (you don't want to pressurize your container by pumping air in with no way out).  Near the bottom of your container, above the perlite layer if you use that method, make another hole for tubing, silicone a short piece of tubing into the hole, and put the check valve on the end of the tubing, with the flow directed out of the container.  When the air pump pumps air in, it will force CO2 out this tube.  The check valve will prevent anything from entering backwards through this "drain tube".

Another trick is to get a small tupperware or other sealable container, remove the rubber bottom off the air pump (to prevent heat buildup), and put the air pump upsidedown in this container.  Make a hole in the side for the tubing to run through, where it goes to your terrarium.  Cut larger holes in the sides or top of this container, go to the supermarket and buy a package of vaccum bags labeled "Y" or "allergen" (these are HEPA material).  Cut pieces of the vacuum bags and tape them over the holes in the air pump container.  Make another hole for the power cord of the air pump, sealing with silicone also.  Seal up the container and plug it in.  The air pump will draw in HEPA filtered air from the room into the container, and pump it into your terrarium.

why is the rubber piece removed from the bottom of the air pump? why is it placed up side down?

Should'nt H2o2 be added to the jar of water also?

Like I said, to allow heat to dissipate.  It also allows the pump to pass more air volume.

rubbermaid containers are not air tight so what bluhoney said would work, your not going to pressureize a rubbermaid container...
