correct way to cultivate wild shroomz.

hi im pretty new to shrooming and i need to know the correct way to harvest the shrooms i find so that more will grow out of the same pies. i want to keep the mycelium intact so i can always get more shrooms in the field. whats the correct way to harvest shrooms? what ive been doing is cutting the stems at the base right where it lets out with my knife. thanks alot

leave about a half inch or so of stem on the pie. And lightly flick the shrooms to spread the spores.

Cut the mushroom off at the base and go about your way.. No need to flick this is a wise tale.. A mushroom needs no assistance to drop its billion spoors :wink:

YESSUP is correct.
Flicking mushrooms is unecessary.
