"grades" of Amanitas sold at iamshaman

I'm not clear on what the "grades" of A and B for example are refering to. Is the A grade a better quality/more concentrated with active chemical compounds than B? or is the A(grade) just refering to how well the specimens were preserved?
Link
edit: Incase anyone is interested herte is the answer I got directly from them in responce to this question.
Quote:
We take great pride in procuring Amanita specimens from a variety of places and in a variety of grades to provide our customers with the widest range of choices available, and to help let our customers become aware that there are multiple grades of Amanitas available. What one site might be selling as "Amanita muscaria caps" might be a "B" or "C" grade specimen, but may not alert their customer to the differences.
In terms of drying our Amanita muscaria specimens, we only buy from well-known, trustworthy suppliers who have been in the Amanita business for at least several years. Our Amanitas are dried using a variety of methods, depending on where they come from, but we absolutely insist on uniformity of drying temperatures for all of our suppliers. This means that if the Amanitas are dried in a stone oven, or on drying racks, or in the sun, they must all maintain a temperature of 140 degrees to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. The specimens are all dried without stems, and they are dried with the caps upside down so that any sweat that is produced by the drying process finds its way back into the cap itself, rather than spilling out.
Our specimens are graded by richness of color rather than wholeness of the cap. We feel this is a far more accurate assessment of the quality of the specimen. Only the caps with the richest colors AND are mostly whole specimens make it into our "A+" grade. Caps that are very nicely preserved are put into our "A" category. Caps that are still nice specimens, but have some discoloration are placed into our "B" category. Any leftover caps that didn't fit into "A+" or "A" or "B" get put into our "Mix" and our "C" grade.
Sounds to me that since the grades don't refer to potency at all, if you are going to use these mushrooms to trip, you might aswell buy the B grade(cheapest priced!). Who cares what they look like really. ^__^

For the Amanita's (ive never done them) get the A++, or basically the best they have. Or atleast thats what i would do.
For the salvia, it depends on the type of experience you are looking for. Ive done extract 5x and 10 and both definitely work well. My friend has eaten the leaves and said its a whole different experience, but not nearly as intense as smoking the extract. So my recommendation would be to buy the extract.
I bought 3g's of the 10x and its lasted a while, you dont need to smoke to much. Basically just pack up a bowl like you would weed and just take some big hits (i recommend a bubbler or bong so you get larger, smoother hits). Also, you need to take large hits of salvia to get its actual, full effects.
Im not sure if youve read about/looked into Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds. They contain LSA, a chemical similar to LSD (but in my opinion the trip is no wear near as "intense" and amazing as LSD). You can also buy Morning glory seeds (Home depot carries them) which also contain LSA but a very small amount. Youd have to take a few hundred MG seeds to match like 6, 7, 8 HBWR seeds.
Good luck, have fun

Tincture is a no go. feel free to find out the hard way, but I strongly recommend against it. It is a very inferior and uncomfortable method of ingestion for salvia.

Thanks for the info about the salvia guys.
I just want to find out about the "Grade A" Amanitas they have and how they compare to the Grade A+ or A++. I doubt they could be that much more potent. Even if they are, you can buy way more of the A stock for the price they have it for.

I can't remember which Fly I bought, but expect anything you buy from there to be top notch. The last order I placed was salvia and HBWR, and I selected more salvia as the bonus. They forgot to ship the bonus package and I told them about it, and they shipped it for free.

Keep checkin back on this post. There was a dude who ate some rediculous amount a couple months ago, cant find it in the search. He talked about the difference between A and A++, and even Amanita Pantherina (which is much more potent)

Wicked. I'd love to hear more about the differences. I saw that they have Pantherina there too but for its rather expensive price, I don't think I'm willing to go that far, just yet, before I try the Muscarias.

I didn't get my free gift either (I've ordered from them once). I didn't bother emailing them to ask them to mail it to me. Maybe they 'forget' on purpose often, hoping that people won't bother to ask for it!? I dunno. But my incense arrived very quickly and in a box with no suspicious company name on it at all (simply an address, no sender name) so I was pleased anyway.
I'd suggest purchasing a salvia extract. But don't order a whole lot because it's possible you'll try it once and not want to try it again, so start small.

Do they deliver to the U.S. and aren't Aminitas too unpredictable to really ensure a pleasant trip. I've always been amazed by them and wanted to try them but I wish I could learn more about their trips.

Yes, they are located in the US actually.
Also I am aware that Amanitas will not neccesarily produce a pleasant trip. I do want to use them however to see what people experienced on then thousands of years ago. It sounds like when properly dosed you can have quite the expierience and it can sprout some amazing inspiration. Just look at Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass! = D

dangerous. getting them from home depot they could have pesticides. plus i've gotten strong highs on 20-70 seeds before, getting them from an online source. about as strong as HBWR except the morning glory are very very sleepy and dreamy which made me think if i fell asleep i would leave this reality forever.
HBWR are more earthy and tripped out too, but more in a roundabout grounded way, whereas MG seem a bit sleepy/dreamier, but both have strong elements of a surreal feeling. i prefer HBWR by a lot, since 4-7 is quite a strong experience.
but what i want to stress is to try not to recommend big doses, even if everyone is eating hundreds of morning glory, if i told someone about them i'd say eat about 20 or 30 the first time to see how sensitive you are.
and if someone wanted to know about HBWR i'd say do 1 and just see the strength, or 3 max your first time, just to feel it out.
also the seeds are not nice on your stomach at all.

I've done grade B from IAS and I currently have Amanita Pantherina from BBB. I haven't tried them yet but those who have only needed 1-2 caps the size of the classic restaurant ashtray. The other amanitas I tried are definately not as potent as these. Also if your looking for the highest of the highest grade go to JLF and get the "Old believers" amanitas but call first to make sure they have them in stock otherwise it could be months before you see your order.
