Straw Casing no pins 2 weeks

I have had this casing in fruiting conditions for about 2 weeks now. Last week the only lght source was when I opened it to fan. Now there is a transparent lid to let in light.
I mist every other day for the past week. here are some pics.
What should I do, is this overlay?

add a thing ass verm layer, dampened. the delay may be because of pinning conditions- such as light -were not set up correctly. give it more time.

That isn't overlay. It looks fully colonized. What's it cased with? RR

i agree with RR, it's not overlay. in fact it looks like you have some nice hyphal knots forming. if you were to scratch you will disturb these knots causing more delays. you should see pins in the next couple of days.

it is not cased, it is popcorn spawned to pellitized wheat straw.

It didn't look like it did, but your title says 'casing', and that's what is confusing. You can't have a casing if it's not 'cased'. Yours would be called a straw bin or straw tray, or simply straw substrate.
Just leave it be and you should see pinning soon. RR
