ticketbastard is $40+ for the shittiest seats @ the state theatre (where the shittiest seats are really shitty).. somebody's gotta have an extra they'd part with for cheaper?

well, they are playing with sonic youth and some other bands. i'd pay that if ween was on the ticket too (they are playing some shows with ween this summer), but the lips are the only act i'd really like to see. and from the balcony, at over $40 plus gas... :frown:

i doubt it, based on the venue i don't think they'll be much of a lot scene/kids touring with extras. i had no problems this summer going to a bunch of phil, bobby, and even a ween show without tickets, but i'm doubtful i'd have the same luck here.

probably not, wanted to go to the gathering of the vibes but my ride fell through. had a car that was at least semi-usable, but blew the head-gasket on it last week. so i think i'll only be hitting shows in the detroit-chicago area until wintertime, when i'll hopefully buy a new car..

it was on its way out... i'm thinking of taking out a loan to buy a subaru or passat station wagon (maybe like 2003, something with less than 40k on it) come wintertime, so hopefully will be up and down the east coast next spring/summer :smile:
