My mother just told me she did mescaline in highschool

I told her I've done LSD and X. (I left the shrooms out, she wouldn't understand that... yet)

Oh lordy, what 150mg of tramadol and a bottle of wine will do for my family.

What a grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat night.

Crappy no1 has responded yet. interesting thread.

1) Why would ya tell yer mom you did LSD and X and not shrooms? Shrooms are generally considered less harmful/"hard" than the others. Just wondering.

2) A lot of adults probably did LSD back then. It's good your mom admits it. Ask her how her trips went :-P.

i think shrooms are beyond her, i don't think she'd get it. they don't have A&E specials on people who have destroyed their brains from shrooms. she knows very little about drug cultureeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

She knows very little of drug culture and yet has done mescaline? Are you sure you just don't know very little about your mother? I'm pretty sure if she wasn't shocked by the X which there IS A&E specials about people destroying their brains she won't be surprised by mushrooms. it's not like she has never done a natural hallucinogen!

I guess because I've actually made shrooms a part of my life by growing them, eating them, giving them away etc that I don't want her to know about it. If she knew the full extent she'd be upset.

I would definitely ask her more about it, as far as I know most people don't do mesc as a first hallucinogen.

I don't think he's judging you or calling. i know I'm not.

It's more of the fact that it's Odd for someone to say they do harder drugs than a lesser drug. it's like someone saying I do Heroin and not admitting they do cannabis because there's more specials on it..

And I have never done mescaline (from what I read it's not for me because of slight differences); however they experiences are more similar to mushies than to X and LSD I'd presume.

Just seems odd.
