Inoculate through a 1/4" hole filled with Polyfill.
Shake jars around 30% colonized, and leave alone until 100%

Rye, as a substrate, or WBS as spawn would be a better choice than popcorn.
Tyvek would be a better choice than polyfil.
2 holes, one on either side of the lid.
Either place tyvek under the ring, and over the lid.
Or, tyvek under the lid, you choose.
Once PC'ed, allow to cool to room temperature (overnight).
Inoculate through one hole, then cover that hole with Micropore tape.
Simple, easy & effective.

I believe will end up shooting yourself in the foot. see, you just described a bacterial infection from rye. either you didn't soak long enough, or pc long enough, or your breath contaminated your inoculation, or your incubation temps could have been over 86 degrees.
popcorn is the last grain to choose if you are looking to avoid bacterial endospores. you probably run a higher risk of the same thing happening to you again with popcorn, than you do with any other choice of spawn. even a second try with rye.
personally, I suggest finding a good wbs tek and giving that a go.
good luck to you.

never had the problem with popcorn, WBS it's happened more often but gypsum can help to offset the chances of bacteria contams whe used in conjunction with proper draining

I innoc mine through my polyfill. Before doing that, I would make these overcomplicated jars up (pic 1). Now, I just flame sterilize, then innoc thru the poly (pic 2).

Ok i will go for polyfill lids with in Fungusman inoc process Will do half popcorn and half wbs
I ve a last question
Do i better have to flame the needle and put it asap though the polyfill and wait for it to cool then inoc or just flame wait and inoc ?
I m worried that if i wait for the syringe to cool out the jars crap will fall on the needle during the cooling time is that possible ?
Tanks for your help

One of the secrets of grain preparation, regardless of which grain, is to rinse the kernels very well before continuing with whatever preparation tek you're going to use. All grains get packaged with a lot of chaff and grain dust that if not rinsed out will cause the grains to stick together later and cause that sticky goo.
Put your dry grains in a large kettle and fill with water as you stir it around. You'll see all the dust and other crap come floating up. Slowly dump out the water to get rid of the junk and repeat two more times or until the water pours off clear.
Adding gypsum as prisoner1 said is also a great idea.
It will take anyone a few tries to get the moisure content right, regardless of which grain or which tek you follow. If it's too wet this time, make adjustments next time, and so on until you work out your system.
Flame your needle and use it right away. The first drop or two of solution will cool the needle without wasting too many spores. As said, if you hold it until cool, it's likely to get contaminated again. I feel it's best to sacrifice a few spores/solution to avoid the problem. RR
