First cake harvest... PICS B+

Well, i was expecting a bit more than 3 shrooms for the first flush but, what the hell im excited because this is my first try at growing and it has been a success. They are b+. I also have a question, i have one cake with a pretty decent sized mushroom growing and just a couple pins just starting. is it alright to chop that shroom off? i dont want to get any mushrooms that are too big because on the PF site it said B+ are more potent when picked before the veil tears?

Looks good.

Not bitching or anything but there is a forum dedicated to this. For future refrence, any pictures should be posted in the mushroom picture forum. I dont see anything wrong with you posting them here as they are related to mushroom cultivation and a whole lot better than the majority of posts here but you would get more traffick and probably replies in the mushroom picture forum.

it would be a good idea IMO to pick that bigger shroom right now....typically in my experience with cakes on the first flush if you pick the "early bloomer" early your second flush is a little better...

You really won't notice any appreciative difference in size or potency from 12 hours before the veil breaks to 12 hours after it beaks.
