Take a vacation, fall out for a while *Pics from my summer*

It's been a few days since I've been back and I've been slowly recovering from all the partying. I went to see Phil Lesh & Friends in Indianapolis, Chicago and then I went to the 10,000 Lakes Music Festival in northwestern Minnesota. I just thought I would share a few pics:
The Lawn at White River Park in Indy:

At the Indy show. My friend (in the tie dye) with the unforgettable look of "hell yes!":

Phil Lesh at Indy. I was front row:

Phil and Joan doing their thing:

The beach in Chicago just outside the venue:

Chicago skyline:

Inside the venue in Chicago:

The stage:

Me waiting patiently for second set.

Dusk in the windy city:

At 10,000 Lakes. Cornmeal did a surprise performance right along a path leading to my campsite:

Railroad Earth at 10k. One of my favorite bands to see live without a doubt. They give me goosebumps every time:

I didn't get any good pics of Phil at 10k. All in all I had a great time. Hung around with a lot of great people and we all celebrated music and life under the hot summer sun.

Wow, Joan looks like she gained some weight from when I saw her only a few weeks ago. That outfit is ugly too. Hmm...

I heard someone say he thought she looked pregnant. Maybe there's some truth to that. Either way I thought she looked damn good.

10klf was fantastic. Railroad Earth had the Barn Stage hopping for almost their whole set. Everyone was talking about it the next morning.
I noticed your picture was the afternoon show, the night before was wild.

I wasn't impressed by Phil, I was on mushrooms and molly so the music was only a backdrop to the clouds and sunset. It was cool, but kinda generic. Barry somebody was the guitarist, not great.

Honestly I wasn't too impressed by their performance at 10KLF either. I thought they sounded much tighter in Indy and Chicago. I also wasn't impressed with the setlist. I was expecting some curve balls but never got any. For whatever reason they just weren't "on" in MN. Maybe they were all tired at the last stop of such an extensive tour.
The did play Cosmic Charley in Chicago and it was sublime.
Oh and Krishna it was great meeting you. Hopefully we can meet up again soon. When I saw you during the show in Chicago I SWORE you had a third eye right on your forehead. I could have been tripping out though ha ha.
