Hmm, your last post is kind of incoherent.

Ok i admit it im a lil tipsy. But as i was saying placebo will chop the head off of any other band. Even tom petty.

I don't know blind melon. I don't really have a favorite. I like anything i'd class as good music, from any genre.
I'm listening to alot of Tommy Emmanuel at the moment.
I should check The Grateful Dead out, i hear alot of them on here but ive never even heard of them before. Same goes for Toole, never heard of them either.

Did Placebo ever have a "hit" song? I feel like I've heard of them, but never heard them.
BTW: When I first saw your post I thought you meant "placebo" the noun, not the band. I thought "No, not really, I like the real thing."

placebo are good, though the singer's voice takes some getting used to for most people. all their stuff is pretty good, but I like their early stuff best.

I've been a fan of Placebo for the past 4 years or so. Very, very, very, very good band. In my top 10 for sure. Haven't had a chance to grab their new album, but all their old stuff is great.
Not easy to find Placebo fans. None of my friends have even heard of them.
