ive been reading that when you start working out you should keep a journal. also you should take pictures of yourself so you can visually chart progress.ive never kept one before, but i guess its not a bad idea. i think i may start one, i could keep it in my journal. this may be something that would actually force me to stick to a regimen. maybe a couple other people wanna start up, just so i dont feel alone in my sissy journal keeping.

Journals are good, especially if they're public. It keeps you on TRACK. Motivation goes up, performance goes up and experience if it's on a public forum for instance.

Lots of great ones at www.bodybuilding.com's forums. I always frequent them when looking for new products, ideas for my own use and general knowledge.

I was going to do my first product review/log for Controlled Labs Green MAGnitude on BB.com but held off. It's at www.controlledlabsforum.com but you unfortunately have to register to view it. I can't believe how much progress I've made solely from posting everything online. Too scared to slack off because it's a sponsored log lol

You should definitely take pics, weight, measurements and bf percentage. Check them out after a month or so and see if there's any noticable change. It's great to look back every few months and notice improvements. It will really boast your morale.

I used to keep a journal just to log my progress... I forgot my journal a couple of times and eventually just said forget it. Stick to it and it should definately help.

What kind of workouts are you doing? Do you have a plan and are going on a cycle?(ex: 3week routine then 1 week(rest week) where you work out 3 times that week... mon weds fri)

If you follow that as a guide to training/working out then you'll get very strong.

That's why you should do an online journal at a public forum like BB.com. Those guys are sharks. I wouldn't ever give up because I'd be afraid of getting my ass e-stomped
