Were to find 1/2 pint jars? (out of season)

Any fast mail order places for 1/2 pints? Most stores dont have them in stock for all of the masses that are canning jelly now-a-days. (been told it's out of season) Thanks

If they sell them and don't have them in stock, they can probably order them in for you. Also try calling a manufacturer. They will tell you who sells them in your area. Try www.homecanning.com for phone numbers. I've posted this all before.

I second the wal-mart option. There must have been a whole aisle of canning jars down there. Don't they have online purchasing or something?

That was the first placed searched. They advised at least one more week till they stock them. And, as we all know, sometimes a week is to long to wait. (just read the threads about shipping times in the vendor forum.. hehe) Thanks for the replies though!

I see them year round at WinCo/Cub Foods/Waremart stores. Not only that, but they usually have at least 10 boxes of them at any given time.

Tons of them in my local supermarket. Ordering them online could turn out to be very expensive as they are quite heavy and will cost a lot to ship.
