Millet seed with sunflower seeds and peanuts..?

To whom may have tried or knows about birdseed substrates:

Well I tried buying this one type of finch birdseed which contained mostly millet, but had unshelled sunflower seeds and peanuts. I pressure cooked it, and when it came out it looked like almost an oatmeal consistency.

I bought another type with just millet, grass seed, and flax seed, and PC'ed it, and it looks much better, more airy and not all clumpy.

Will it be a problem if its clumpy? Will the growth just be delayed? Does anyone know if sunflower seeds and peanuts can be detrimental to mycelium growth?

Peanuts would probably make a great substrate. Peanuts are expensive though.

Hmm I sure hope so...:)

Im just hoping the consistency of the mushy nuts are OK... I mean whats funny is that it DOES look like the consistency of nutty shits...LOL Mushrooms do like straw shits but hmm ...
