yea there's been heaps of steady rain the last month or so, and yet there's nothing. I'm thinking that since it was so unusually dry in May & June this affected things for the rest of the season?

last year in Sydney there were at least a few flushes in my fave spots. This year there was only one, small, and then nothing...

Anno I see that you have been around a long time as per the amount of posts (22K +) Do you have any thoughts or opinion as to why and/or how the season has been shaping itself out here around Sydney area this year?

My friend has a reliable spot in Sydney and it usually gives up quite a lot but there was just one small flush so far this season. We have a rain gauge at our house, in western Sydney, and have been recording the rain for 10 years. This year looks likely that it will be the driest since we began measuring.
